Your first day: from landing to the hotel
Enter your landing time and your base. We add the time to get out of the airport with ski bags, the drive and a margin for snow or a changeover Saturday, and tell you whether you arrive in daylight and in time for an afternoon on the slopes.
- 11:30Your flight lands. Your driver is already tracking it.
- 12:10Bags, ski bags from the oversized belt and out to meet your driver (about 40 min).
- 3 h 14Drive of about 219 km to Soldeu, without traffic.
- +20 minMargin for a changeover Saturday: arrivals and departures fill the border and the valley.
- 15:44At your door in Soldeu.
- Sunset in Soldeu that day: 17:22. You arrive in daylight.
- You arrive in time for a short first session: lifts close at 17:00.
Planning estimates, not a timetable: we track your real flight and the time depends on the border, traffic and snow on the day.
The border
Documents and customs
Andorra is not part of the European Union or the Schengen area, and there is a customs check at La Farga de Moles. Everyone, children included, needs a valid passport or national ID card, depending on nationality. If you need a Schengen visa, make sure it allows several entries: you leave the Schengen area entering Andorra and enter it again on the way back.
On the way back into Spain, Spanish customs check what you carry. There are allowances for tobacco, alcohol, perfume and other goods; the official page of the Spanish tax agency lists them.

Your phone
Roaming is not like in the EU
Because Andorra is outside the EU, the EU free roaming rules do not apply there. Check with your operator before you travel, or switch off data roaming at the border and use the hotel wifi. Your driver’s phone number arrives by email, so you have it before you land.

Lift pass, lockers and the first morning
- Buy the lift pass online from the official resort website and collect it at the ticket offices or machines of your base.
- Leave skis in the hotel ski room or in the lockers at the main lift stations.
- At 2,000 metres the sun burns even in January: sunscreen and goggles in your pocket, not in the suitcase.
- Lifts run from 9:00 to 17:00; the last lifts back to the villages close earlier, so check the map.
