What non-skiers do

  • Caldea, in Escaldes-Engordany: the best-known thermal spa in Andorra. Our sister site Andorra Transfers has a page on Caldea.
  • Shopping on Avinguda Meritxell and Avinguda Carlemany, in Andorra la Vella and Escaldes: see shopping in Andorra on Andorra Transfers.
  • Ice skating at the Palau de Gel in Canillo.
  • Riding a gondola up to the snow to meet the skiers for lunch: the resorts sell pedestrian tickets on some lifts; check which ones on their websites.
  • Snowshoe walks on marked circuits or with a guide: see ski touring and snowshoeing.

Where to stay

A base that works for both

Canillo, Encamp and La Massana are towns with shops and a gondola to the snow, a good compromise when only part of the group skis. Soldeu and Pas de la Casa are better for those who ski every day. See where to stay for skiing.

Moving between towns inside Andorra is by local bus; our transfers connect Catalonia and Andorra. See getting around without a car.

Skis, boots and suitcases

What vehicle do I need?

Count everyone and every bag. Ski bags, snowboards and big suitcases are one item each; two cabin bags or two boot bags count as one. The boot fills up as you add them, and the price comes live from our booking engine.
