A ski week in Andorra: arrival and departure days

When to book
The season as a marked piste
Each stretch of the 2026-27 season has the colour of a piste marker: how hard it is to find a vehicle on those days. Black weeks book up first.
- Quiet: book a week ahead
- Normal: book two weeks ahead
- Busy: book a month ahead
- Peak: book as soon as you have your flights

Changeover day
Why Saturdays are slower
On Saturdays hotels and apartments change guests, so cars, coaches and transfers all go up and down at the same time. Leaving Andorra, the Spanish customs at La Farga de Moles adds the longest queues on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If your flights allow, a Sunday-to-Sunday or midweek week is calmer.

Timing
Good times to land and to leave
- Arriving: a morning or early-afternoon flight lets you reach the base in daylight and collect hire gear the same evening.
- Leaving: for an afternoon flight, a morning pick-up at the hotel with a generous margin for the border; we agree the time with you when you book.
- Last ski day: many skiers ski the Friday and travel on Saturday morning, rather than skiing on the departure day.
- Landing late? See late arrivals.
Booking
Book both transfers with the flights
Book the transfer up to your base and the transfer back to the airport when you buy your flights. Each has its own fixed price per vehicle, tolls included, which depends on the date and time; you see it before paying. Count every suitcase, ski bag and boot bag: the return carries the same luggage. For the busiest weeks, see the season calendar.
Skis, boots and suitcases
What vehicle do I need?
Count everyone and every bag. Ski bags, snowboards and big suitcases are one item each; two cabin bags or two boot bags count as one. The boot fills up as you add them, and the price comes live from our booking engine.

Frequently asked questions
Is Saturday a bad day to travel to Andorra?
It is the busiest, because hotels change guests. The drive still works, but allow more time, especially leaving Andorra in the afternoon.
Can I book the return at the same time?
Yes. Book the transfer from your base to the airport in the same search box, with its own date and time.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Do ski bags and child seats cost extra?
Yes, both are priced extras that you add in the booking, and you see the full price before paying.
