When to book

The season as a marked piste

Each stretch of the 2026-27 season has the colour of a piste marker: how hard it is to find a vehicle on those days. Black weeks book up first.

  • Quiet: book a week ahead
  • Normal: book two weeks ahead
  • Busy: book a month ahead
  • Peak: book as soon as you have your flights

Season dates from the resorts. Bank holidays from the official calendars; UK and French school holidays vary by area, so check yours.

The February 2027 calendar

  • UK half-term: most schools in England break from Monday 15 to Friday 19 February 2027; some areas take the week before. Check your school’s calendar.
  • French winter holidays: zone C from 6 to 22 February, zone A from 13 February to 1 March, zone B from 20 February to 8 March 2027.
  • Carnival: Tuesday 9 February 2027.
  • The weekends of 13-14 and 20-21 February are the busiest changeovers of the month.

Flights, families and the drive up

Half-term weeks fill Girona and Barcelona with family flights from the UK and Ireland. A family of four travels with a lot of luggage: count suitcases, ski bags, boots and child seats in the search box and we only show vehicles where everything fits. Book as soon as you have flights

Saturday transfers in half-term are booked well ahead. Book when you have your flights; free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up. For the rest of the season, see the season 2026-27 calendar.

Skis, boots and suitcases

What vehicle do I need?

Count everyone and every bag. Ski bags, snowboards and big suitcases are one item each; two cabin bags or two boot bags count as one. The boot fills up as you add them, and the price comes live from our booking engine.

Frequently asked questions

When is February half-term 2027?

Most schools in England break from 15 to 19 February 2027, but some areas and academies use other dates. Your school’s calendar is the reference.

Is Andorra busy during the French holidays?

Yes, especially Pas de la Casa and Grandvalira, from 6 February to 8 March 2027 as the three French zones follow each other.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle, with tolls included. Whether two or seven of you travel, the price of the chosen category is the same. Each vehicle carries up to 8 passengers; for bigger groups the search box offers several vehicles leaving at the same time.

Can I cancel?
