Before you fly
Book the ski bag with your airline
Almost every airline treats skis and boards as sports equipment, with its own fee, weight limit and size rules. Add it when you buy the flight or to your booking before you go to the airport: it usually costs less than paying at the desk, and some flights have limited space for sports equipment. Conditions vary between airlines, so check their website.
A padded bag protects the edges and bindings. Many skiers pack their ski clothes around the equipment to use the space; boots, depending on the airline, can go in the ski bag, in a separate bag or in the cabin.

Collecting your skis at the airport
At Barcelona Airport, sports and oversized luggage usually comes out on a separate belt or desk, and sometimes takes longer than the suitcases. That is fine: we track your flight and you get 60 minutes of free waiting from the actual landing time. If your ski bag does not arrive, file the claim before leaving the baggage hall and let us know on WhatsApp.
At Girona and Reus, smaller airports, collection is usually quicker. Compare all three on which airport.

What vehicle do I need?
Count everyone and every bag. Ski bags, snowboards and big suitcases are one item each; two cabin bags or two boot bags count as one. The boot fills up as you add them, and the price comes live from our booking engine.
