When to book
The season as a marked piste
Each stretch of the 2026-27 season has the colour of a piste marker: how hard it is to find a vehicle on those days. Black weeks book up first.
- Quiet: book a week ahead
- Normal: book two weeks ahead
- Busy: book a month ahead
- Peak: book as soon as you have your flights

- Until Monday 8 March: last week of the French winter holidays (zone B); Pas de la Casa is still busy.
- Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March: women’s Alpine Ski World Cup on the Avet piste in Soldeu. See the Soldeu World Cup.

The snow
Spring snow: making the most of it
In March the snow is often firm first thing and softens as the sun warms it. The higher areas, such as Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa and Ordino Arcalís, hold up better at the end of the season. Check each resort’s snow report before choosing your base, and the roads on snow and roads today: it can still snow in March.
The resorts plan to close the season on 4 April 2027, always depending on the snow. Each resort publishes its exact dates; our season calendar sums them up.
Booking
Quiet weeks and busy weeks
Between the World Cup and Easter, mid-March weekdays are usually quieter. From Barcelona Airport to the bases it is 2 h 55 - 3 h 25 without traffic. Book your transfer with your flights: the price is fixed per vehicle, depends on the date and time, and you see it before paying.
If you head back on Easter Sunday or the Monday after, leave plenty of margin: Spanish customs at La Farga de Moles usually queues on those days.

What vehicle do I need?
Count everyone and every bag. Ski bags, snowboards and big suitcases are one item each; two cabin bags or two boot bags count as one. The boot fills up as you add them, and the price comes live from our booking engine.
